HDFC Bank’s virtual assistant EVA (Electronic Virtual Assistant) has been integratedwith Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant to give our customers instant access to information.
Google Assistant is available on millions of Android devices as well as Google Home.
EVA on Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant will make it easy for millions of bank customers to have access to HDFC Bankrelated information using the simplicity and convenience of a voice conversation.

Launched in March 2017 as a chatbot powered by artificial intelligence, EVA is India’s first and largest AI-based banking chatbot having already answered more than 65 lakh user queries with more than 85% accuracy on the bank’s website www.hdfcbank.com. In its new avatar, EVA has evolved to become a virtual assistant that can converse with customers using voice and help them with their queries.

This integration will make the bank’s services accessible to even more customers right on their phones, wherever they are, using voice as the primary mode of communication.
Customers can voice chatand resolve queries through devices such as Amazon Echo, Android smartphone, and Google Home devices.

How does it work on Amazon Alexa?
Step 1: Enable the skill
Open the Alexa app or go to Amazon.com. Tap or select “Skills” and search for HDFC Bank. Select “Enable”. Accept “Terms and Conditions”.

Step 2: Talk to Alexa
User can just say “Open HDFC Bank”. Now you can talk to Alexa about general and product related queries.

How does it work on Google Assistant?
Users can just say “Ok Google, talk to HDFC Bank” to their Google Assistant on their Android smartphone or Google Home device to interact with EVA.
