2nd International Conference on Advances in Mechanical Engineering” (ICAME2018)
SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Kattankulathur conducts 2nd International Conference on Advances in Mechanical Engineering (ICAME2018) between March 22 and 24, 2018. It is a platform to intellectuals from various universities, research institutes, enterprieses and experts across the world to gather for exchanging ideas and findings of recent developments in Mechanical Engineering. This conference is also promulgated, through presentations, basic expeditions, applications and case studies in the broad area of Mechanical Engineering.
The conference witnessed ten keynote speakers from distinguished institutions across the world. About 520 technical presentations were made from India and overseas. Further round-table meetings and discussions between experts from all corners of world was held. The Inaugural function held on 22nd March 2018 at Dr.T.P Ganesan Auditorium, Dr.S Prabhu, Head of Mechanical Engineering Department welcomed all the dignitaries and delegates present in the conference. He highlighted significant aspects of the conference, including publication of paper abstracts in the conference proceedings and publishing selected papers in Scopus indexed journals. Dr.T.R Parivendhar, Chancellor, SRM Institute of Science and Technology delivered presidential address and inaugurated the conference. He insisted on the need to conduct more such conferences and seminars which will enhance the research domain of the institutes. The Chief Guest Mr S.Sarvanan, General Manager, FORD Motor Company Private Ltd, in his address, thanked the Department and Institute for the invitation and congratulated the delegates for sharing their research findings in this gathering.The Guest of honour Dr. Lung-Jieh Yang, Professor, Tamkang University, Editor in Chief Journal of Applied Science and Engineering, Taiwan spoke on the significance of research and its publication in journals. Dr. Se Jin Park, Director Korea Research Institute of Standards and Science (KRISS), South Korea insisted that more research on scientific human values need to be undertaken and Mr. Adrian Harris Micro Materials Ltd, UK wished all delegates a success in their endeavors. The Vice Chancellor, SRM Institute of Science and technology Dr. Sandeep Sancheti, in his felicitation speech expressed good wishes to all engineering research scholars and their institutions. Dr. Dr. D. KingslyJeba Singh Dean, School of Mechanical Engg appreciated the department for conducting the conference and also gave best wishes to all attendees.
Dr.T.Rajasekaran, Deputy Head, expressed gratitude to all dignitaries for their august presence and wished success in their efforts for all delegates.
இயந்திர பொறியியலின் முன்னேற்றங்கள் பற்றி இரண்டாவது சர்வதேச மாநாடு 2018
சென்னை, காட்டாங்கொளத்தூர், ஸ்ரீ ராமசாமி நினைவு அறிவியல் மற்றும் தொழிற்நுட்ப கல்வி நிறுவனத்தின் இயந்திரவியல் துறை சார்பில் 22.03.2018 முதல் 24.03.2018 வரை இயந்திர பொறியியலின் முன்னேற்றங்கள் பற்றி இரண்டாவது சர்வதேச மாநாடு நடைபெற்றது. இந்த மாநாட்டில் பல்வேறு பல்கலைக் கழகத்தைச் சார்ந்த ஆராய்ச்சி மாணவர்கள், ஆராய்ச்சி மற்றும் தொழில் நிறுவனங்களை சார்ந்த வல்லுனர்கள், தங்கள் அறிவுசார் திறன்களை பரிமாறிக் கொண்டார்கள். இயந்திரவியல் துறை சார் அண்மை வளர்ச்சிகள் பற்றிய கருத்துகளை வெளிக்கொண்டு வர தகுந்த அடித்தளத்தளமாக அமைந்தது. மேலும் இந்த மாநாட்டில், துறை சார்ந்த ஆராய்ச்சி கட்டுரைகள் வெளியிடபட்டன.
இந்த மாநாட்டின் சிறப்பு அம்சங்களாக, உலகின் புகழ் பெற்ற கல்வி நிறுவனங்களிலிருந்து பத்து சிறப்பு பேச்சாளர்கள் பங்கேற்றார்கள், மேலும் சுமார் 520 ஆராய்ச்சி விளக்கக்காட்சிகளும், ஆராய்ச்சியாளர்களிடையே வட்ட மேசை கூட்டமும் மற்றும் விவாதங்கள் நிகழ்ந்தன. தேர்ந்தெடுத்த ஆராய்ச்சி கட்டுரைகள் ‘ஸ்கோப்பஸ்’ குறியிடப்பட்ட இதழ்களில் வெளியிடப்பட்டது.
இம் மாநாட்டின் தொடக்க விழா மார்ச் 22, 2018 அன்று காலை 10 மணி அளவில், கல்வி நிறுவனத்தில் உள்ள முனைவர் தி. பொ. கணேசன் அரங்கில் நடைபெற்றது. விழாவின் வரவேற்பு உரையை இயந்திரவியல் துறை தலைவர் முனைவர் S. பிரபு அவர்கள் வழங்கினார். மாநாட்டில் பங்கேற்ற சிறப்பு விருந்தினர், கொளரவ விருந்தினர்கள், மற்றும் ஆராய்ச்சியாளர்களை வரவேற்றார்.
மேலும் இவ்விழாவின் தொடக்க உரையை கல்வி நிறுவனத்தின் வேந்தர் முனைவர் T. R பாரிவேந்தர் அவர்கள் வழங்கினார்.
சிறப்பு விருந்தினராக உயர்திரு S. சரவணன், பொது மேளாளர், M/S போர்டு இந்தியா லிட், சென்னை பங்கேற்றார். அவர் தன்னுடைய உரையில் இந்த விழாவில் பங்கேற்க அழைத்தமைக்கு கல்வி நிறுவனத்திற்கும், துறைக்கும் நன்றி தெரிவித்தார். மேலும் மாநாட்டில் பங்கேற்ற பிரதிநிதிகளுக்கு வாழ்த்துகளை தெரிவித்தார்.
கொளரவ விருந்தினர் முனைவர் லுங் ஜிஹே யாங், போராசியர், தாம்காங் பல்கலைக்கழகம், அறிவியல் மற்றும் தொழற்நுட்ப ஆராய்ச்சி கட்டுரை பதிப்பாசிரியர், தைவான், தம்முடைய உரையில் அறிவியல் ஆராய்ச்சியின் முக்கியதுவத்தையும், அதனை இதழில் வெளியிடவும் அறிவுறுத்தினார்.
முனைவர் சே ஜின் பார்க், இயக்குநர், கொரியா தரநிலை மற்றும் அறிவியல் ஆராய்ச்சி நிறுவனம், தெற்கு கொரியா, தனது உரையில் விஞ்ஞானபூர்வமாக மனித மதிப்புகள் கொண்ட ஆராய்ச்சிகளை மேற்கொள்ள வேண்டும் என கூறினார். திரு அட்ரியன் ஹாரிஸ் M/S மைக்ரோ மெட்டிரியல் லிட், யு.கே. மற்றும் முனைவர் டேனியல் ஹான் ஆராய்ச்சி இயக்குநர், இன்டோ யூரோ சின்க் ஆசென், ஜெர்மனி, தங்களது உரையில் மாநாட்டில் பங்கு பெற்ற ஆராய்ச்சியாளர்களுக்கும் மற்றும் வல்லுனர்களுக்கும் தங்கள் ஆராய்ச்சி பணியில் வெற்றி பெற வாழ்த்தினார்கள்.
எஸ். ஆர். எம். கல்வி நிறுவனத்தின் துணை வேந்தர் முனைவர் சந்திப் சன்சேட்டி, தனது வாழ்த்துரையில் அறிவியல் மற்றும் பொறியியல் ஆராய்ச்சி கூட்டமைப்புகளுக்கு, தங்களது பணியில் மென்மேலும் வெற்றிபெற வாழ்த்துகள் தெரிவித்தார். இறுதியாக, தனது வாழ்த்துரையில் முனைவர் D. கிங்சிலி ஜெப சிங், டீன், இயந்திரவியல் துறை, மாநாட்டை மிகவும் சிறப்பாக நடத்தியதற்க்காக துறைக்கு வாழ்த்துகள் தெரிவித்தார், மேலும் தமது துறையில் ஆராய்ச்சிகள் பல செய்து சிறந்து விளங்க வேண்டுமென கூறினார்.
நிறைவில் முனைவர் T. ராஜசேகரன் துணை இயந்திரவியல் துறைத்தலைவர் நன்றி உரை வழங்கினார். அவர் அனைத்து விழா பிரமுகர்களுக்கும், ஆராய்ச்சியாளர்களுக்கும் மற்றும் பங்கேற்ற அனைவருக்கும் நன்றி தெரிவித்தார்.
