Report on FDP Programme
A six day Faculty Induction/Refresher Programme was organised from 21.5.2018 to 26.5.2018 sponsored by AICTE-ISTE on the topic “Modern Construction Materials and Construction Techniques”(MCMCT-2018). The function was inaugurated by Dr.V.Kalyanaram, Retired Professor and Head, Dept of Civil Engineering, IIT-Madras and Presided by Dr. T.P.Ganesan, Director, Valliammai Engineering college. The Principal Dr.B.Chidhambararajan and Vice Principal Dr.M.Murugan felicitated the Event. Dr. D. Elango, Professor & Head, Department of Civil Engineering, Valliammai Engineering College gave the welcome address about the Programme.
Participants from Tamilnadu, Karnataka, Andhra and other States participated in this programme. Research persons from various States shared their research knowledge in this programme. The proceedings of the programme was released by the Chief Guest. Finally the Vote of thanks was delivered by Dr.A.Leema Rose, Associate Professor, Department of Civil Engineering, Valliammai Engineering College.
