The task at hand would be to infuse Indian and global cuisines with Aruna’s challenge being of infusing Tamil Nadu and Great Britain’s food. Having come to the show, intending to represent Tamil Nadu’s rich culinary culture, this challenge would define Aruna’s desire of putting her home state on the global map of cuisines. Next up, Aruna Vijay would be battling other home cooks to win the immunity pin on Tuesday in the “Food Pyramid Challenge”. This would be followed by the ultimate challenge on Wednesday and Thursday, the “Team Service Challenge” where they would have to prepare food and service it to actual customers! Aruna Vijay would be leading the “Red Team” where they have to prepare Italian dishes. She would be dividing the work among her members which would be serving a four-course meal to the customers and the Chefs.

Talking about the week Aruna shares her excitement for the viewers to see her shine, “I enjoyed all the challenges that were given this week. They were unique, played on my strengths as well as gave me an insight into my weaknesses and where I need to improve. There was an adrenaline rush throughout the week that I enjoyed because that gave into my performance. I tried my level best to be the best home cook on the kitchen floor and impress the Chefs. Early on, I learned how to use my skills to my strength and that is my gameplay. I hope the viewers enjoy the different challenges this week because they are so creative and unique. It is only going to get tougher from here on!”

It is now left to be seen whether Aruna’s cookery would be all show and no dough or whether she would bring her A-game to the MasterChef Kitchen. What will happen? Will Aruna be able to truly represent Tamil Nadu on the show or is the exit close?
