Ms. Pramad Jandhyala, Co-Founder, LatentView Analytics, said, “India’s sporting talents are hidden among the sections of society where access to quality training and exposure to talent identifying tournaments are limited. CKL has been conceptualized as a measure to build a pathway for talented children to become high-performing athletes.  It is heartening to have identified 180 children from just 30 schools who would be participating in this league. We are sure that these children would excel and find themselves opportunities to get trained for more successes.”

The first edition of Chennai Kaalpandhu League was conducted in 2019 where 50 schools participated, and over 50 plus were benefited. This year, a structured scouting process started in July and 90 boys and 90 girls were identified from 30 government schools in Chennai and Thiruvallur.  Since 2019, Chennai Kaalpandhu League has reached out to more than 200 underprivileged children studying in Government and Corporation schools and has provided formal football training league match exposure.

The talented players would be identified and provided with meticulous training by some of the best football coaches from the country. The league aims to identify deserving children, train them to become good athletes.
