DEFENCE MINISTER VISIT TO INS PARUNDU AND INS KATTABOMMAN

The Hon’able Defence Minister Smt Nirmala Sitharaman visited the Naval Units, INS Parundu and INS Kattabomman in South Tamil Nadu on 31 Jan 2018 (today).
INS Parundu Naval Air Station located near Uchipuli in Ramanathapuram District. Today Defence Minister visited the INS Parundu was received by Vice Admiral Karmbir Singh Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Eastern Naval Command and Captain Kuldeep H Tankasle, Commanding Officer, INS Parundu. The Hon’ble Defence Minister was briefed on the activities of INS Parundu and interacted with Officer and Sailors of INS Parundu during her maiden visit to the Naval Air Station.
