SRMIST’s Parrivendhar Students` Tamil Association celebrated Service Day
SRM Founder Chancellor Dr. T. R Paarivendhar`s birthday was celebrated as Service day on behalf of Parrivendhar Students` Tamil Association which is functioning under SRM Thamizh Academy. Prior to this main event, Medical Camps and Sapling plantings were held at Government Higher Secondary School, Maraimalai Nagar, on 21.08.2018. A Blood Donation and Eye Donation camp was conducted at the University Campus on 22.08.2018.
The service day was celebrated on SRM Kattankulathur campus on 24.08.2018. Dr. N. Sethuraman, Registrar presided over the function held at the University campus on 24.08.2018 in the presence of Vice Chancellor Dr. Sandeep Sancheti. V.G.P. Founder Chairman

Saidai S. Durai Samy delivered special address.
Dr. T. R. Paarivendhar distributed Educational Aids and certificates for Medical Insurance Scheme to the students of IGM Children Home, Guduvanchery and delivered valedictory address. Cultural programme of students were also in place. Directors, Deans, Heads of the Departments, Professors from various departments and Students in large number attended the function.
