Pro Kabaddi league franchise Tamil Thalaivas is keen to spread the local sport kabaddi across the State with its year-round initiatives like the corporate kabaddi fest and children’s kabaddi challenge.
The children’s kabaddi challenge will run through from August to September and is aimed at reaching out to 1 lakh students across 8 cities, including Chennai, Madurai, Coimbatore, Salem, Thiruvallur, Thanjavur, Tirunelveli and Pondicherry.
Each city will have 12 girls and 12 boys team battling it out in the knockout format. The top 30 teams will reach the next round that will be held in Chennai.
The corporate Kabaddi fest will be held at the Express Avenue mall from 17 – 19 August and will see the participation of 32 corporate teams comprising individual women and men teams.
