UNO DAY CELEBRATED AT VELAMMAL

World United Nations Day was celebrated on 24 October, 2018 at Velammal Main School, Mogappair campus to bring in awareness about the contributions of the United Nations towards world peace. The guest of honour, a freelance writer Ms. Nivedita Louis highlighted the facts on the path of UN from Anne Frank to Aylan kurdi. A Quiz competition was conducted for the students pertaining to the United Nations organisation. The session was lively and informative
