Newcomers in Tamil cinema have always found a special welcome, and films that tell fresh stories through new talent continue to be embraced by audiences.
In the same tradition, ‘Cold Call’ features four newcomers, Siddu Moolimani, Sri Vaishnav, Santhosh S.A. and Krishna Vijay Chandran, as its lead actors. The film’s unit has announced with enthusiasm that it will release in theatres worldwide from the 18th of this month.

‘Cold Call’ also stars V. Srikanth, Balaji Rajasekar, Amitha Ranganatha, Nisha Hegde and Keerthana, among others. Cinematography is by G.N. Saravanan, music is composed by Pranav Giridharan, and editing is handled by Suresh Arumugam. Produced by Kesava Moorthy under Walkthrough Entertainment, the feel-good film is being distributed by Jenish of Action Reaction.
Speaking about the film, the director said that sales representatives are very much a part of this society, and the screenplay has been shaped to present incidents from their everyday lives as comedy and feel-good entertainment. He added that Gen Z audiences watching the film in theatres will find themselves relating to it and enjoying it. The story follows four friends who work as sales representatives, and their romance, conflicts and comedy have been woven together into two hours of entertainment.
The film’s teaser has already received a positive response online and built up anticipation for the film. The poster released for the announcement has also caught fans’ attention. ‘Cold Call’ is set to release in theatres worldwide on September 18.
