Julie joins the competition as a wildcard, finding an unexpected connection with fellow mom-to-be Samantha Ruth Prabhu
Celebrity MasterChef Tamil is about to get an unexpected twist as Julie joins the competition as a wildcard contestant. Known for her spirited personality, she is ready to swap the familiar for something completely new — taking on demanding culinary challenges, racing against the clock and putting her cooking skills to the test.
But there’s another connection making her arrival particularly special. Julie is currently expecting her first child, while celebrity judge Samantha Ruth Prabhu is also embracing motherhood. With both experiencing this new chapter in their lives, food cravings, changing tastes and the little joys of pregnancy could make for some warm and candid moments between the two — albeit from opposite sides of the judging table.
Talking about the experience, Julie said, “Entering Celebrity MasterChef Tamil at this stage of my life makes it even more special. Knowing that Samantha is also going through the same beautiful phase makes me feel like there is someone here who will understand all my cravings! But she is on the other side of the table, so I’m definitely not expecting any easy marks. I’m here to cook, challenge myself and hopefully surprise the judges.”
With Venkatesh Bhat, Sashi Cheliah and Shreeya Adka, alongside Samantha, evaluating every dish, Julie will have to quickly find her footing and prove that she can shake up the competition.
