Chennai september 2019: Sanjiban Hospital, Kolkata has announced a first of its kind programme on Doctor of Medicine in association with the acclaimed Lincoln University College (equivalent to Malaysia, where a student can avail an international Doctor of Medicine degree MBBS in India) while studying in India only. This is going to be a first of its kind programme in Eastern India.
This was officially announced at a Press conference at Chennai today in the esteemed presence of Mr. Nurul Hossain, Admission Registrar, Sanjiban Hospital, Kolkata, Mr. Adhikari, Director, EduGlobal and Ms. Swati Sanyal, Director Operations, EduGlobal. Sayantan Das EduGlobal is a renowned Education consultancy service provider based out of London and Kolkata. This is an initiative of renowned PR house Candid Communication.
The main objective of this programme is to build a very high quality health education system by providing an innovative platform, which would help to facilitate cooperation in the exchange of information relating to their activities in higher education and research. A medical student Listed by MCI} would get an international Doctor of Medicine (equivalent to MBBS in India, degree and also would get a chance to qualify for licensing examination (USMLE, MCCEE, PLAB, AMC and FMGE/IMG) by studying and practicing in India with excellent infrastructure at Sanjiban Hospital for teaching and clinical training in the modern environment.

Doctor of Medicine at Sanjiban Hospital Campus provides the students with the right state of art lab facility. This QS World University ranked course yields them with the right platform by exposing them to Clinical training in 1000 bedded super specialty hospital in Malaysia and 300 bedded super specialty hospital in India for licensing examination. Trainees will also be given Licensing Training by Royal College doctors and International faculties.
Doctor of Medicine is a five year academic course with two phases. A two year basic medical science phase followed by a three year clinical experience. The eligibility criteria for this programme are NEET UG.
