BLOOD DONATION CAMP ORGANISED BY NCC DIRECTORATE TAMIL NADU AT MMC, CHENNAI

 Chennai, 23rd November 2017

          NCC Directorate Tamil Nadu is celebrating its 69thanniversary of NCC Raising Day this week on 26 Nov 2017.  This year theme for NCC Day is ‘Blood Donation’. On this occasion today (23 Nov 2017), all officers, Associate NCC Officers, Instructors and Senior Boys and Girls Cadets of this Cadet are voluntarily donating blood all over Tamil Nadu, Puducherry & Portblair at various Govt Hospitals and Medical Colleges. Approx 3500-4000 units of blood are expected to be donated by the NCC org during this campaign.

          This voluntary noble act of blood donation of, “Rakta Daanam” will act as a force multiplier and go a long way to help the medical fraternity to save many precious lives of our needy citizens who may need blood.
