SRM Arts and Science College, Kattankulathur conducted NRITYA ‘23, an Interschool Cultural Competition on 18th August 2023 on the occasion of its Founder’s Birthday. The Competition was aimed at exposing the cultural diversity and hidden talents of the school students. Various events like drawing, channel surfing, elocution were conducted as a part of the competition. A total of 500 students from 30 schools took part in the competition. Mr. R.Arunachalam, Estate Officer, and Dr. R. Mohana Krishnan, Director of Sports, SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Kattankulathur Campus were the Chief Guests of the Programme. They congratulated the participants and advised them to make use of available sources and enhance their skills to be successful in their professional and personal lives. The overall Winner’s Trophy was won by Zion School, Selaiyur and the prizes were given away by the Guests to the winners of the various events. Dr. R. Vasudevaraj, Principal presided over the programme and Mr. K. Mathiyazhagan, Vice Principal advised the participants to cultivate good habits for the betterment of the Nation. Dr. K. Govarthanan, Physical Director and Dr. R. Radhidevi, Coordinator of the Fine Arts Club delivered the welcome address and vote of thanks.
