TANSDMA’s National Convention on Modern Techniques in Soaps & . Detergents to be held at Chennai on 28th & 29th December, 2019
The Tamil Nadu Small Scale Soap and Detergent Manufactures Association (TANSDMA) is conducting a National Convention on Modern Techniques in Soaps & Detergents at the Chennai Trade Centre, Chennai on 28th and 29th December. The press is invited to attend this event and the press meet for the same is to be held on 23rd December, 2019 at Hotel Savera, Chennai at 3.00 p.m.
The Tamil Nadu Small Scale Soap and Detergent Manufactures Association was started in 1964 and it currently has around 600 members. The aim of this association is to increase the growth of the soap and detergent industry, update it with new advancements in the sector, encourage new entrants and address problems that manufacturers face.
The current TANSDMA president K Dhanapal has been doing exceedingly well. In 1995, the association constructed its own building and the office operates from there. The association is currently 55-year old.
Aims of the event
Recently, there have been many advancements in the field of soap manufacture. The convention will educate manufacturers from Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh on how they can produce quality soap and detergent products at a low cost. The aim is to increase their growth.

Exhibition
There will be over 70 stalls where raw material suppliers and machinery manufacturers from all over India will take part. They will display and demonstrate their products
Seminars
Rangaraj Pandey of Vendhar TV will speak about today’s economy and the opportunities it offers. Industry experts will talk about the technological advancements in soap and detergent manufacture, making quality products, reducing costs and so on.
Participants
The participants are soap and detergent manufacturers from Tamilnadu, Andhra, Kerala, Karnataka and Pondicherry.
Inauguration
The inauguration of will be held on 28th December, 2019 at 10 am at Chennai Trade Centre. It will be inaugurated by Hansraj Varma, I.A.S., Additional Chief Secretary to Govt. of Tamilnadu, Rural Development, Panchayat Raj and Special Programme Implementation. He will also deliver the Inaugural address and release the souvenir. Dr. M.Arthi will release the Golden Jubilee My
Stamps and deliver the keynote address. Shri S. Rethinavelu, Senior President – Tamilnadu Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Madurai and Shri S. Anburajan – President, Tamilnadu Small & Tiny Industries Association will offer felicitations. Shri K.Dhanapal – President – TANSDMA will preside over the event.
The Head of the (TANSDMA) National Seminar and Convention Committee, Mr. A.J Saravanan is working with a 20-member team for this event.
